Day 1- Embarkation
Arrive Aswan Airport or Train Station meet and assist by our representative who will transfer you to your Nile Cruise. Boarding before Lunch at 11:00 a.m. – Lunch on board – p.m. afternoon free at leisure. Overnight on board. (Lunch-Dinner)
Day 2- High Dam – Philae – Kom Ombo Temple
a.m. visit the High Dam that was built to divert the Nile to prevent flooding and the temple of Philae this temple was nearly lost under water when the High Dam was built it was secured by a joint operation between the Egyptian government and UNESCO – Sail to Kom Ombo. p.m. visit the temple shared by the two Gods Sobek and Haroeris is an unusual double temple built during the Ptolemaic dynasty in the Egyptian town of Kom Ombo. It were later made during the Roman period , the building is unique because it’s double design meant that there were courts,halls,sanctuaries and rooms duplicated for two sets of gods “Sobek & Haroeris” – Sail to Edfu. Dinner & Overnight on board. (Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner)
Day 3- Edfu Temple
a.m. visit the temple of Horus in Edfu it was built during the reigns of six Ptolemy’s it is the most unique temple and consider the most preserved temple all over the world. p.m. sail to Esna – Cross the lock. Dinner & Overnight on board. (Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner)
Day 4- Valley of Kings – Queen Hatshepsut – Memmnon – Departure
a.m. disembarkation after breakfast – Cross to the West Bank visit the Necropolis of Thebes, Valley of the Kings is located on the west bank of the River Nile it’s age is nearly 500 years from the 16th to 11th century BC, tombs were constructed for the kings and powerful nobles of the new kingdom, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut located on the western bank of the Nile, this is one of the most beautiful of the royal mortuary temples- finally Colossi of Memnon Finally you will be transferred to Luxor airport or the Train station. (Breakfast)
